How advertising supports the site
Advertising revenue may help pay for hosting, research, development and maintenance. The presence or absence of an advertisement does not establish an endorsement of the advertised product or determine the editorial treatment of a restaurant.
Separation from ordering controls
Advertisements should be distinguishable from restaurant links, search tools and official-order buttons. They must not imitate a menu button, conceal the direct price answer or make users believe an advertiser is the restaurant being researched.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links may create compensation when a user completes an eligible action. When such a relationship exists, it will be disclosed near the relevant content. Compensation does not change the source label or permit an unsupported price claim.
Personalized and non-personalized ads
Advertising providers may use cookies or similar signals to deliver personalized or contextual ads subject to user settings, provider policies and applicable law. Users can use browser controls and provider preference tools where available.
Editorial control
Advertisers cannot purchase a higher Value Score, suppress a supported correction, require favorable language or obtain access to private user submissions. Editorial and advertising functions remain separate.
