Corrections Policy

Users can report different menu prices, availability or data errors.

What to submit

Page URL, item, city/state, restaurant address or store ID, order channel, observed price and an official source or receipt screenshot.

Review

Submissions are not automatically published. Evidence is checked against the official restaurant source.

Outcome

Confirmed errors are corrected and the evidence record is updated.

What can be corrected

Corrections can cover prices, calories, menu names, category placement, availability, restaurant address, source links, allergen wording and calculations. A stylistic disagreement is considered separately from a factual error.

Evidence required

The strongest evidence is a current official restaurant menu, official app checkout, official location page, official nutrition document or clear receipt that identifies the restaurant and item. Anonymous claims without enough detail may be logged but cannot automatically replace a sourced value.

Review process

A submitted report is compared with the existing source record. When the difference is caused by local pricing, the page may add a selected-store observation rather than replace a national reference. When the published number is plainly wrong, it is corrected and dependent calculations are regenerated.

Timing and transparency

Urgent safety or allergen concerns should be directed to the restaurant, not this website. Routine editorial corrections are handled as evidence permits. Public pages use readable update language while exact audit details can be retained internally for source tracking.

No pay-to-change policy

Restaurants, advertisers and users cannot pay to remove a valid correction, inflate a score or substitute an unsupported price. Legal requests and trademark concerns are reviewed separately from ordinary editorial corrections.

How a report is checked

A correction report is matched to the exact page, restaurant, item, location, date and order channel. The strongest support is a current official menu page, official restaurant checkout, official nutrition page or a clear receipt that identifies the restaurant. Screenshots without a location or date may help locate an issue but are not automatically treated as proof that every U.S. restaurant uses the same price.

What happens after review

A supported correction changes the public answer, source note or calculation as needed. A local observation is labeled as local instead of replacing a broader reference without justification. If evidence conflicts, the page may show the differing scopes while review continues. Personal details that are not necessary for the investigation are not published, and payment-card numbers, passwords or other sensitive information should never be submitted.
